ST Conveyors are constructed of high strength food grade HM Polyethylene PE500 side frames which house the running track for the modular conveyor belt. This design feature keeps the belt under control and prevents side to side movement, a potential problem with conventional belt conveyors.
The low friction HM Polyethylene PE500 side frame and modular belt results in low running costs and minimal maintenance. Side frames are available in a variety of colours, whilst the modular belt can be supplied in a variety of plastic material and colours. The modular belt can be completely removed from a conveyor in less than 3 minutes for easy cleaning or adding or removing product support flights.
ST Conveyors are powered by single or 3 phase motors with optional variable speed. Due to the very low friction, often small 20w 40w 90w motors are used which are hidden within the belt track. This means no unsightly motor protruding from the side frame.
Conveyor side frames are supported by an anodised aluminium section to give a solid and robust structure for years of use. Mounted on castors the conveyors are easily moved for plant maintenance.
